About

What’s this blog about?

My own thoughts on love, life, sex, work, travel, food, health, relationships, music, art and everything in between.

This is my virtual brain spluttering space for anyone who cares to read it.

(Though I’m hoping that mum and dad won’t be reading this blog!)

Who are you?

My name’s Anna. Nice to meet you. I’m a British born Chinese. I’m more European than Oriental, my Chinese is awful, I have a loud laugh and I tend to say exactly what I think. I mean well though! Friends and family describe me as crazy…but in a good way.

Bristol (UK) born and bred. Living in Victoria, Australia at the moment. Come and say hello sometime if you’re in the area! :)

What do you do?

I don’t really have a defined role in life, I do a lot of different things. At the moment, I’m a teacher, musician, writer, artist, runner, gardener, events organiser, vegan baker and web geek. My current favourite hobbies are playing guitar, drinking herbal/green tea and sleeping. :)

What else do you do?

I have some music sites set up you can check out:

What is your philosophy?

Don’t be afraid to fail, to make mistakes, to love, to be imperfect, to get hurt and beaten down, to bleed, to heal, to take that path you want to go alone, to dream of the most wildest things, to believe when others don’t, to stand strong when others think you’re crazy, to be true and honest to yourself, to try but sometimes fail to be a good friend/lover/daughter/son/partner, to smile when it counts, to do something that makes you smile on the inside as well as on the outside, to make a fool out of yourself, to hold and hug someone without hesitation, to show your true feelings, to be forgiving to enemies, to have fun but mostly,  don’t be afraid to be afraid.

I like “don’t be afraid to be afraid.” I’m totally using that one.
